A trading cryptocurrency guide must provide reviews of all of the top crypto exchanges out there, so that you can find the best cryptocurrency exchange site for you. This review of EasyCoin.pl consists of four parts: general information, fees, deposit methods and security.
UPDATE 7 March 2019: We have not been able to access the website of this exchange recently. We believe this might be due to the exchange having closed down its operations. We will continue to monitor the website of this exchange and provide any updates here as soon as we have any.
EasyCoin.pl is a Polish cryptocurrency exchange. Poland is alongside the United Kingdom one of Europe’s most prominent cryptocurrency exchange countries. In addition to this exchange, Poland is also the home country of BitMarket and Coinbe (to mention a few).
Although EasyCoin.pl does not list US-investors as prohibited from trading, US-investors should still do their own independent assessment of any problems arising from their residency or citizenship. This is the recommendation we always give to US-investors.
EasyCoin.pl Trading View
Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. As we have not been able to access the website lately, we have not been able to obtain a print screen of the purchase interface at this trading platform either. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
EasyCoin.pl Trading fees
This Polish coin exchange doesn’t charge different fees between takers and makers. Their fee model is something we call a “flat fee model”. Their flat fee is set at 0.16%, which is slightly below the industry average. There are slightly different opinion on what the industry average is but we would say that it is approx. 0.25%.
EasyCoin.pl Withdrawal fees
Many exchanges have competitive trading fees but then hit you on the way out with their withdrawal fees. Let’s say you have reached your investment goals and you are looking to buy house with bitcoin. In order to buy that house, you need to withdraw the funds. And when doing so, the exchange can make up for its low trading fees by charging you high withdrawal fees when you’re halfway out the door.
Not EasyCoin.pl though. EasyCoin.pl does not charge a withdrawal fee, but only charges the network fee. The network fee can be viewed as a withdrawal fee but is usually substantially lower.
EasyCoin.pl offers wire transfer as a deposit method, but you can’t deposit via credit card. This of course negative news to you if you would prefer to use your credit card for any reason.
This exchange’s security score is F, when performing the test at Observatory by Mozilla (https://observatory.mozilla.org/). This is below industry average when it comes to top crypto exchanges.
The exchange reviewed above is what we call an “entry-level exchange”. This means that this exchange also makes it possible for someone to enter the cryptocurrency market with fiat currency. There are numerous entry-level exchanges out there, including (but not limited to):
