The Pancakeswap team announced via Twitter on Monday that fixed-term and flexible staking options are now available on its decentralized exchange. However, it said fixed-term staking of CAKE tokens leads to higher Annual Percentage Yield (APY) while flexible staking has lower APY, but users can access their CAKE tokens at demand. 

PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is down by more than 5% today and is currently trading at $8.563.
