Mutant Ape Yacht Club Is The 5th NFT Collection Valued At Over $1B

According to data from CryptoSlam, the NFT data aggregator, the Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) NFT collection crossed the $1 billion in all-time sales as of today. The MAYC was launched in August 2021 and is a collection of 20,000 NFTs, which are available on the OpenSea marketplace.

MAYC sales have increased significantly, up by 72% in the last seven days. The creator of the MAYC collection, Yuga Labs’, acquired the rights to CryptoPunks and Meebits from Larva Labs.
