The Injective team announced via a blog post on Thursday that it has integrated with XION, a layer-1 blockchain backed by Animoca, Circle, and others. ION’s Chain Abstraction enhances blockchain usability by seamlessly connecting users, apps, and liquidity across ecosystems, allowing XION to serve as an extension to all major blockchain networks.

The integration will enable the seamless flow of users and assets throughout the Injective and XION ecosystems, enhancing liquidity and in turn creating a variety of novel cross-ecosystem use cases.

Injective is an open, interoperable layer-one blockchain for building powerful DeFi applications. Injective uniquely provides plug-and-play financial infrastructure primitives, such as a high-performance on-chain decentralized exchange infrastructure, decentralized bridges, oracles, and a composable smart contract layer with CosmWasm. INJ is trading at $26.44, up by 1% in the last 24 hours.
