Pixelverse Launches Pixelverse Arcade on Base and Farcaster

What started out as a Telegram Tap-to-Earn game is evolving into something so much bigger. This is the story of Pixelverse, a unique Web3 game that is expanding its reach beyond the Telegram ecosystem and is now launching on other blockchains.

Pixelverse Arcade Launches on Base and Farcaster

Pixelverse, the Web3 gaming platform that scaled to 27M MAU through its Telegram tap-to-earn, has announced the launch of Arcade on Base and Farcaster. The Telegram tap-to-earn ecosystem is an important one in the crypto space, with a recent report predicting that it could grow to become a $6.3 billion sector.

While Pixelverse began as a Telegram tap-to-earn game, it is evolving beyond that. Its launch on the Base and Farcaster networks reflects Pixelverse’s shift from a Telegram-native audience to a more Web3-focused community. It also introduces deeper onchain features, collectibles, and integrations with meme-native projects.

According to the team, Pixelverse Arcade comes with a unified player profile across all Pixelverse titles. Every action in any game contributes to a seasonal Battle Pass, with rewards, items, and achievements recorded onchain.

This unique approach will provide players with persistent progression and real ownership of digital collectibles.

Storychain Becomes the First Arcade

The team revealed that the first Arcade release is Storychain, a collaborative storytelling game on Farcaster. The team explained that

The first Arcade release is Storychain, a collaborative storytelling game on Farcaster. Pixelverse added that its AI agent sets the rules, and each reply adds a short fragment to the story. Each chain is minted on Base as an NFT that credits the contributors.

Furthermore, stories are grouped into collections tied to Pixelverse’s meme partners, with leaderboards and PIXFI rewards driving participation. Each chain effectively turns a Farcaster thread into both a social game and a permanent collectible.

The decision to expand to the Base and Farcaster networks comes as the Pixelverse ecosystem continues to evolve. The game now attracts Web3 native players, with the integrations of leading meme Base communities such as Toshi, Ski Mask Dog, Mr. Mingles, and Brett, solidifying its position in the ecosystem.

Players can engage with these communities on Base directly via collectibles and seasonal rewards. Meanwhile, Farcaster provides the distribution layer for social participation.

Its native token, $PIXFI token, will also be deployed on Base, linking gameplay, rewards, and trading activity with the same networks Pixelverse is building around.

While commenting on these deployments, Kori Leon, co-founder of Pixelverse, stated that Storychain takes everyday conversation and turns it into both a game and an onchain asset.

“It’s the first step toward a category of games only possible on open networks like Base and Farcaster,” Leon added.

Pixelverse was launched in 2024, reaching 50 million players on Telegram. It is backed by Delphi Ventures, Mechanism Capital, Merit Circle, and the Gate.io Meme Fund, with its recent growth allowing it to launch Pixelverse Arcada on the Base and Farcaster networks.
