UPDATE 1 September 2020: This exchange has decided to "not resume the digital assets exchange services". Thye announced this through the following message on its website:
To find a reliable exchange where you can start an account, just use our Exchange Filters and we'll help you find the right platform for you.
A trading cryptocurrency guide must of course provide reviews of all of the top crypto exchanges out there, so that you can find the best cryptocurrency exchange site for you. This review of ANXPRO consists of four parts: general information, fees, deposit methods and security.
ANXPRO is an exchange based in Hong Kong. There are loads of coin exchanges from Hong Kong. Hong Kong is in a way the Mecca of cryptocurrency trading. A non-exhaustive list of competitors to this exchange on its home turf is Binance, Bit-Z and KuCoin.
Whereas the exchange does not explicitly prohibit US-investors from trading on its exchange, all US-investors should still perform their own analysis of whether their home state imposes any legal obstacles to them trading at any of the top crypto exchanges that could be the best cryptocurrency exchange site for them.
ANXPRO Trading fees
The trading fees for takers here are 0.20%. This fee is slightly below the industry average which is around 0.25% and thus constitutes a competitive advantage against the majority of other top crypto exchanges in the market. Industry averages are however slowly moving towards even lower standards, such as 0.10% and 0.15%. But, we do feel that it is fair to say that ANXPRO’s trading fees are competitive.
ANXPRO Withdrawal fees
This exchange charges a withdrawal fee amounting to 0.002 BTC when you withdraw BTC. This is actually substantially above the global industry average. The global industry average is 0.000812 BTC per BTC-withdrawal. It is a bit surprising to us that ANXPRO has chosen to charge a withdrawal fee that is almost 150% higher than the industry average.
All in all with respect to fees, this trading platform has reasonable trading fees but their withdrawal fees are unnecessarily high.
This coin exchange offers wire transfer as a deposit method, but not credit cards. This might of course be disadvantageous if you would prefer to use your credit card for any reason. However, many exchanges only offers deposits of other cryptocurrencies. Compared to them, ANXPRO is still advantageous to the holders of fiat currencies.
The exchange reviewed above is what we call an “entry-level exchange”. This means that this exchange also makes it possible for someone to enter the cryptocurrency market with fiat currency. There are numerous entry-level exchanges out there, including (but not limited to):
