The Ronin Network announced via a blog post on Tuesday that it has launched zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machines (zkEVM) on Ronin, leveraging the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) tool.

The deployment would allow builders to launch their own Layer 2 chains on top of the Ronin mainnet while opening the door to faster and more accessible gaming experiences on Ronin.

The team added that Ronin builders will soon be able to leverage the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) to create their own zkEVM chains on Ronin.

Ronin Wallet is the crypto wallet developed for Axie Infinity. It operates on the Ronin blockchain, which works as a sidechain on the Ethereum network. The Ronin network makes it much cheaper to trade and breed Axies and greatly reduces the costs of playing Axie Infinity. RONIN is up by 3% and currently trades at $2.400 per coin.

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is up by 4% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.722.
