Real Finance Lands a Total $29M Funding
Real Finance, the leading real-world asset (RWA) tokenization network, has announced that it has completed a private funding round and capital commitment totaling $29M.
In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, the team said the funding round was led by Nimbus Capital with a $25M commitment, and with participation of Magnus Capital and Frekaz Group in a $4M private round.
The company aims to tokenize $500M of RWAs in its first year, representing 2% of the total market for tokenized assets. Furthermore, this investment will support Real Finance’s effort to expand its partner network, scale its infrastructure, and onboard regulated financial institutions preparing to bring traditional asset classes on-chain.
Real also aims to advance real-world asset tokenization while establishing itself as a major infra provider for RWAs.
While commenting on the completed funding round, Real Finance CEO Ivo Grigorov said,
“Nimbus Capital’s decision to support Real Finance reaffirms that we are on course to power the next generation of global financial infrastructure. Having a fund with such an institutional pedigree standing behind our mission, coupled with the support of leading investor Magnus Capital, is a validation of our work to date. With their support, I’m excited for what’s to come as we enable hundreds of millions of dollars in real-world assets to flow through Real.”
Robert Baker, Managing Partner at Nimbus Capital, added that the investment reflects their belief in the direction finance is moving.
“Real Finance is creating the secure and compliant foundation institutions need to bring real-world assets onchain. We’re delighted to be supporting a team that is bringing transparency and trust to the next generation of financial infrastructure, and we’ll be with them every step of the way,” Baker added.
Real Finance added that it is working to expand its services globally, including advancing institutional relationships with banks such as Panama’s Canal Bank and Austria’s Wiener Bank.
The firm is also rapidly building an alliance of regulated financial institutions and service providers across multiple regions, including Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, that are integrating its technology to enable secure and compliant asset tokenization.
Matthijs Van Driel, CEO and Co-founder of Magnus Capital, stated that they are privileged to have led Real’s private round, giving them the support they need to enhance and scale their Layer-1 solution.
