The Pancakeswap team told its community via X on Monday that it has burned 7,675,532 CAKE tokens (worth $16 million) this week. The decentralized exchange generated 147k CAKE ($312k) in trading fees for its V2 Swap and Perpetual market, up 56% from the previous week. Pancakeswap also generated 79k CAKE ($167k), down by 36%. The Predictions and Lottery markets generated 43k CAKE ($92k) and 33k CAKE ($69k), respectively. The NFT marketplace generated 2300 CAKE ($5k), up 119% from last week.
