The Klaytn Foundation announced via X on Thursday that its community members have officially voted in favor of merging the Klaytn and Finschia blockchains. The merge of the two blockchains is set to create Asia’s largest Web3 ecosystem.
Klaytn is a public blockchain developed by Ground X, the blockchain arm of Korea’s internet giant Kakao, with 50 million users worldwide. Meanwhile, Finschia (FNSA) was rebranded from LINK (LN), a blockchain developed by the global messenger app company, LINE Corp.
The new blockchain will inherit Klaytn and Finschia’s integration with Kakaotalk and LINE, creating a user base of over 250 million across Asia.
