The Kava Network announced via X on Wednesday that Kava 16 has officially launched on mainnet. Kava 16 migrates the dedicated bridge with Binance Chain, which has safely facilitated over $2.5B in cross-chain transfers, over to Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

Thanks to this launch, BSC users now have access to native $USDt and $WBTC with

BNBCHAIN to all Kava and Cosmos ecosystem projects. Kava 16 deploys IBC packet forwarding to enable native $USDt and $WBTC to be distributed widely across Cosmos chains.

Kava aims to become the default DeFi platform by providing stablecoins and decentralized lending against all major crypto assets. KAVA is down by 5% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $0.7168 at press time.
