On Monday, the TronDAO team announced via X that GreatVoyage v4.8.1 (Democritus) is live.

GreatVoyage v4.8.1 is Live on Tron

On Monday, the TronDAO team announced via X that GreatVoyage v4.8.1 (Democritus) is live. This is a mandatory TRON node upgrade. Developers are encouraged to upgrade by 23:59, Mar 9, 2026 (SGT) to avoid node sync issues.

This is a mandatory upgrade that introduces support for the ARM64 architecture, alongside several key updates and governance proposals.

TRON is a public blockchain attempting to become the core infrastructure for a decentralized internet. TRON relies on a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) mechanism in which 27 Super Representatives rotate every 6 hours to validate blocks and transactions. TRX is up 0.4% today and is trading at $0.2778 at press time.
