Binance to List the ZK Token

Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange by daily trading volume, announced on Monday, June 17th, that it will list ZKsync (ZK) trading pairs on its trading platform.

The exchange also announced a token distribution program as it seeks to address concerns from the community.

Binance revealed that starting from 8 a.m. on Monday UTC, ZK will be available for spot trading, paired with BTC, USDT, FDUSD, and the Turkish Lira. This means that Binance users can now deposit ZK in preparation.

Binance added that withdrawals will be available a day after the listing. The listing on Binance will come an hour after the ZKsync airdrop claims commence.

The cryptocurrency exchange also announced a ZK token giveaway program following the community criticism surrounding the airdrop. Binance intends to distribute 10.5 million ZK tokens to roughly 52,500 users.

Users who completed at least 50 ZKsync Era transactions between February 2023 and March 2024 are eligible for the Binance ZK token distribution program. However, Binance added that the transactions must be spread across a minimum of seven different months within that period. Furthermore, users who have claimed any ZK tokens through the official ZK Nation airdrop program will not be eligible.

The cryptocurrency exchange concluded that eligible addresses will be distributed the ZK tokens on a first-come, first-served basis. The first token airdrop is slated for June 25.
