Chainlink announced via X on Thursday that Chainlink CCIP now supports the cross-chain transfer of native ETH, starting with support for Ethereum, Arbitrum and Optimism.

This upgrade means that CCIP now supports the cross-chain transfer of native ETH between different blockchain networks. Alongside this upgrade, a new pricing model has been introduced that makes CCIP one of the most cost-efficient options for securely and reliably bridging a wide range of tokens, ultimately accelerating transaction volume, high-value use cases, and overall cross-chain adoption, the team added.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by 2% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $17.81 at press time.
