On Friday, the BitTorrent team announced via X that the BTFS v2.3.5 Mainnet is now live. Thanks to this latest development, BTFS now supports the BTIP-51 proposal, which encourages nodes to store the metadata of uploaded files on the blockchain.
Other improvements include added support for multiple RPCs to boost the success rate of network connections, optimized code structure and fixed bugs for better performance.
The BitTorrent token is a TRC-10 token on the Tron blockchain. The BTT token intends to build a token-based economy for networking, bandwidth, and storage resources on the existing BitTorrent network. BTTC is trading at $0.00000161 at press time, up by 1% in the last 24 hours.
