HBAR Foundation, the development team behind the Hedera blockchain, announced via Twitter on Saturday that Astra Nova, the new ‘MetaRPG’ game building on Hedera, will move development from Ethereum. Starting on Saturday, January 14th, users will be able to access an early mint pass that guarantees a unique Deviant NFT - the inhabitants of the Astra Nova universe. Honoring previous partners, the first NFT mint will be on Ethereum. Post mint, every Deviant (Ethereum) holder will be eligible to free mint a crystal on Hedera - facilitating the evolution of the Deviants onto Hedera, the team added.

Hedera Hashgraph is distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.0529 at press time, up by 4% over the last 24 hours.
