Telegram airdrops gained popularity last year, thanks to the fun they bring to Web3 gaming. Before that, most airdrops reward users for completing fairly technical activities, usually during a testnet.
The airdrop ecosystem is one of the biggest in the crypto space. A report by crypto exchange Gate.io earlier this year revealed that among 11 sampled projects, the total value of airdrops amounted to approximately $7.16 billion, with around 1.9 million users worldwide participating. The median claim per address was about $4,600.
In addition to this, Market Future Research revealed in its recent report that the Web3 gaming market size is expected to surpass $100 billion by 2034. Per the report, key market opportunities in this ecosystem include decentralized asset ownership, Play-to-earn economic structures, interoperable game ecosystems, and NFT integration.
This clearly shows the massive interest and the growing market size of airdrops and Web3 gaming. For this reason, DAR Open Network is launching a quest system to unite Web3 gamers and reward them for completing quests.
Is the DAR Quest System Fun? Gamers will Soon Find out
In a bid to unite gamers and increase adoption across the Dalarnia Open Network ecosystem, DAR Open Network has announced the launch of DAR Quest System.
In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, the team said Dalarnia Legends has launched the Legends Circuit. This tournament is expected to gain traction as it is easily accessible for casual players and houses high-reward events for competitive gamers.
DAR Open Network is an AI-powered, chain-agnostic infrastructure providing web3 apps with shared technology, assets. Its native $D token has several use cases, including governance, staking, and the purchase of items within gaming marketplaces.
The tournament will commence on September 1 and will empower players to compete for rewards and complete quests playing a wide variety of Web3 games. The quest will feature daily tournaments, where players will battle for a spot to become one of the 64 players to grace the annual Grand Masters Final.
DAR Open Network houses a wide range of games, and recently welcomed several games to its ecosystem, including The Legends Circuit, Olympus Prime, and more.
The DAR Quest System Could Boost Web3 Gaming Adoption
While the quest will be fun, the organizers are also looking to boost Web3 gaming adoption with the event. The event will reward regular players and incentivize gamers to explore new titles available within the Dalarnia Open Network ecosystem.
Overall, the quest will make it easier for players to discover new games and opportunities to earn tokens. Players will be tasked with completing daily, weekly, and seasonal quests to earn in-game currency (Moon Coins), Quest Points, and exclusive rewards.
Furthermore, DAR explained that players who collect Quest Points can participate in a Play-2-Airdrop competition. This is where it gets even more fun for the players. The team revealed that individual airdrops awarded depend on a player’s performance, starting with a 100,000 D token reward pool for the first four-week season commencing September 1. Hence, players will need to perform excellently if they want to stand a chance of earning airdrops.
To boost adoption, DAR revealed that all gamers within the Dalarnia Multiverse can participate in the Quest System.
While commenting on the upcoming event, Manfred Pack, Project Lead at DAR Open Network, said DAR is using this quest to rethink how rewards work in Web3 gaming.
“By tying competition, fun, and community participation directly to token distribution, we’re building an ecosystem where players don’t just play – they shape the future of Dalarnia together. Instead of passive airdrops or pay-to-win mechanics, we’re rewarding skill and engagement across the Dalarnia Multiverse. It’s a model that brings sustainability and excitement to how rewards are earned,” Pack added.
DAR Quest System’s Unique Reward Mechanism
To make the event a memorable one, DAR revealed that the D token reward pool features a flexible model that will be adjusted monthly based on community size and token value.
The quest will boost gaming adoption within the DAR Open Network, while its play-and-compete framework will provide a sustainable template for developers to adopt. This mechanism actively promotes engagement via gaming rather than passive holding of tokens.
