Chainlink announced via X on Tuesday that World Mobile Token has integrated Chainlink CCIP across the Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, and Arbitrum mainnets. World Mobile Token (WMTX) is the utility token that powers the World Mobile network, a decentralized mobile network at the forefront of the DePIN space.

World Mobile Token will leverage CCIP’s arbitrary messaging functionality and Simplified Token Transfer capabilities to facilitate cross-chain token transfers and staking and create a more seamless user experience on the World Mobile Token network.

They selected CCIP as their preferred interoperability solution because Chainlink has the most proven track record of maintaining the highest standard of security and reliability in the Web3 industry. Furthermore, CCIP is backed by the Risk Management Network—a separate, independent network that monitors and verifies cross-chain operations for suspicious activity.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 7.5% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $11.28 at press time.
