On Monday, the Wormhole team announced via X that WalletConnect’s $WCT is now natively multichain with Wormhole's NTT framework. WalletConnect expands $WCT to Ethereum while preserving native token functionality and preventing liquidity fragmentation across chains.

WalletConnect powers connections across crypto, building the infrastructure for seamless onchain experiences. The WalletConnect Network token ($WCT) is the backbone of this ecosystem, enabling decentralized governance and sustainable network operations. With NTT, WalletConnect advances by cutting liquidity fragmentation across chains while maintaining control over token ownership, metadata, and upgradeability.
