The Uniswap team announced via Twitter on Wednesday that it has launched on the Avalanche blockchain. This integration means that Uniswap users can now start swapping their Avalanche tokens on the Uniswap website.
The team added that it is also working to integrate more chains to its website as it seeks to make it easier for DeFi users to gain access to more services.
Uniswap is a decentralized exchange protocol built on Ethereum. To be more precise, it is an automated liquidity protocol. There is no order book or any centralized party required to make trades. UNI, the native token of Uniswap, is currently trading at $5.230, down by more than 2% in the last 24 hours.
