The Theta team announced via a Medium post on Wednesday that it has partnered with the World of Women (WoW) NFT collection to stream its first-ever WoW Gala in Miami.

The Theta team announced via a Medium post on Wednesday that it has partnered with the World of Women (WoW) NFT collection to stream its first-ever WoW Gala in Miami. The event during Miami Art Week will be live-streamed using the ThetaDrop Video Portal powered by Theta Metachain for any holder of a WoW NFT, Theta added. 

Theta said it would power the livestream experience on ThetaDrop Video Portal, including “The Purple Carpet,” interviews and the award ceremony, giving token holders the opportunity to connect and chat with other holders during the event.

Theta is a decentralized video delivery network powered by users, running on a dedicated blockchain (Theta Network). Its value proposition is to reduce the costs of content delivery networks by effectively creating a mesh network of shared content.

THETA is currently trading at $0.943, up by more than 1% in the last 24 hours.
