The Sandbox announced via a Medium post on Thursday that it has acquired the Uruguayan company Cualit. Cualit is a full-stack development technology firm experienced in gaming. The acquisition is designed to boost The Sandbox’s Web3 and blockchain innovation and development capabilities, the team added. 

The Sandbox is a virtual world built on the Ethereum blockchain, where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences. SAND has added more than 6% to its value in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $1.2674 per token.
