Eight dYdX GitHub Repositories Are Now Live
The recently concluded Korea Blockchain Week was one of the largest blockchain events held in Asia. Some of the speakers at the event included Ethereum Co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, Wemade CEO Henry Chang, Maelstrom CIO Arthur Hayes, Hashed CEO Simon Kim, BitGo Co-founder and CEO Mike Belshe, Polygon Co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, Line Next’s Business Director Woosuk Kim, and SkyBridge Capital’s Founder and Managing Partner Anthony Scaramucci.
The event saw the presence of some of the leading Web3 companies, including The Sandbox, the Klaytn Foundation, 1inch Network, Oasys, and several others.
Following the conference, the dYdX team announced via a blog post that eight of its chain GitHub repositories are now fully public. The repositories include; v4-chain, v4-abacus, v4-web, v4-clients, v4-localization, v4-documentation, v4-testnets, and v4-infrastructure.
The team pointed out that the introduction of the dYdX Chain (v4) was the first step towards making dYdX fully decentralized and transparent. Making the code public is the next step for the team.
The team added that all core repositories, including the validator software, indexer, web front end, and supporting libraries, are now public on GitHub. The development team added that the dYdX Chain Code is still being tested, and they aim to release the production-ready code later this year. The team wants its community members to use the repositories to grow the dYdX ecosystem.
dYdX has a mission to democratize access to financial opportunities and believes that the release of the v4 software is a step towards this direction.
