The Pancakeswap team told its community via Twitter on Wednesday that it has submitted a new proposal to reduce Farm Emissions for BNB Chain PancakeSwap v3 and Aptos PancakeSwap.
Pancakeswap seeks to adjust v3 BNB Farm Emissions from 0.75 to 0.74 CAKE/block immediately. The team also wants to reduce Aptos Farm Emissions to 0.04 CAKE/block. These optimizations bring Pancakeswap closer to achieving ultrasound CAKE, the team added.
PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is down by 5% today and is currently trading at $1.348.
