Obex, an Incubator By LayerZero, Sky, and Framework, will Fund Stablecoin Innovators

On Tuesday, the LayerZero team announced via X that Obex, a $37M incubator by Sky, Framework, and LayerZero to fund stablecoin innovators and enable Sky to deploy up to $2.5B in USDS to selected projects.

Obex scales Sky by funding builders to create new yield, liquidity, and credit opportunities for the $10B protocol. Obex is built around Framework Ventures’ thesis that stablecoins can function as powerful capital-formation tools, enabling them to compete with traditional institutions in financing capital-intensive projects.

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $1.386, down 2.6% in the last 24 hours.
