On Wednesday, the Near Protocol announced via X that NEAR AI now automatically detects and anonymizes sensitive information before it leaves users’ devices. Users can use popular frontier models without handing them passwords, API keys, and other sensitive info.
NEAR AI provides 2 layers of protection: client-side PII redaction before data leaves a device, and TEE-based encryption that keeps prompt sealed from the model host and cloud provider during inference.
