MoonPay Integrates with PayPal

MoonPay announced on Thursday that its users in the United States can now purchase and sell more than 110 cryptocurrencies with PayPal. This latest development comes after MoonPay’s integration with PayPal.

The integration is designed to help prevent declined crypto purchases via debit cards while also boosting the success rate of using crypto transactions. Furthermore, MoonPay pointed out that existing PayPal users won’t need to manually input their card information when purchasing cryptocurrencies on its platform.

The company also added that its users will not be limited to PayPal purchases with the PYUSD stablecoin or ether as it supports more than 110 coins and tokens.

The feature is available to more than half of MoonPay’s customers in the United States. The company revealed that it intends to expand its PayPal integration to users in the United Kingdom and European Union in the future.

According to MoonPay, it is the first on and off-ramp provider to integrate with PayPal. The integration comes despite PayPal also offering its own on and off-ramp service for web3 payments.
