On Monday, the LayerZero team announced via a blog post that LayerZero has been integrated into the Fireblocks Tokenization Engine. The integration enables institutions to seamlessly deploy and manage tokens across over 35 blockchains, including EVM-compatible networks, Solana, and beyond.
By integrating the OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) Standard into Fireblocks’ Tokenization Engine, Layerzero is eliminating the hurdles of multi-chain asset issuance and security for enterprises that want to bring stablecoins, real-world assets (RWAs), and more to the blockchain space.
It ensures that token issuance and omnichain deployment no longer require large development teams. Institutions can launch new stablecoins or RWAs in days rather than months. With OFT, assets seamlessly move across any supported blockchain, tapping into multiple liquidity pools and ecosystems without bridging complexities or financial middlemen.
LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $2.704, up 1% in the last 24 hours.
