The IOTA Foundation announced yesterday that its co-founder Serguei Popov has moved from the Board of Directors to the Supervisory Board. Serguei makes this transition as he seeks to focus on his academic activities.

IOTA is a permissionless distributed ledger "for a new economy". The project targets the Internet of Things, through the use of an open-source distributed ledger. IOTA is trading at $1.04 per token, down by more than 6% in the last 24 hours.
