io.net and GAIB have strengthened their collaboration in a bid to advance a shared vision of democratized access to GPU computing resources.

io.net, the leading decentralized physical infrastructure network (dePIN) for GPU clusters, announced on Thursday, October 31st, that it has strengthened its partnership with GAIB, the economic layer for AI and compute future.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, io.net stated that the two companies will commit to advancing a shared vision of democratized access to GPU computing resources.

The partnership will cover various initiatives designed to foster innovation and improve accessibility to GPU compute. Furthermore, the entities will focus on strategic marketing, community engagement, technical integration, and business development opportunities.

While commenting on this partnership, Tausif Ahmed, VP of Business Development at io.net, said,

“This partnership represents a natural evolution of our existing relationship with GAIB. Our expertise in decentralized GPU infrastructure, coupled with GAIB’s forward-looking approach to GPU tokenization and financialization, will help unlock exciting new possibilities for both of our communities.”

The collaboration will explore several common areas of interest and see the two collaborate on technical and product synergies such as compute tokenization, joint marketing initiatives, and community engagement programs.

The partnership will also include coordinated business development efforts to identify and pursue new market opportunities, as well as joint user onboarding campaigns and technology evaluations.

Kony Kwong, CEO of GAIB, added that,

“Working with io.net will allow us to further our mission of making AI compute accessible to literally everyone. We are excited to work hand in glove to push the boundaries of what’s possible.”

io.net and GAIB will utilize their respective expertise and resources to ensure the successful execution of the initiatives mentioned above. Though yet to be confirmed, early activities may include detailed technology evaluations, deployment planning, and coordinated publicity campaigns.

io.net is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) that deploys and manages on-demand, decentralized GPU clusters from geo-distributed sources. Hundreds of thousands of GPUs are accessible today in IO Network, and this Internet of GPUs is specifically architected for low latency, high processing demand use cases like AI/ML ops and cloud gaming. io.net democratizes access to GPU compute capacity while reducing costs, expediting lead times, and expanding choice for engineers and businesses.

GAIB is the first economic layer for AI and compute future. It helps anyone own a piece of AI. GAIB creates a new yield-bearing asset that tokenizes GPUs and their yield. The name GAIB is inspired not only by the movie Dune, which means "the unseen or the future", but also by the three elements it focuses on: GPU, AI & Financialization. GPUs are the new assets and compute is the new currency in the AI era, akin to spice in Dune. GAIB is liberating a trillion-dollar AI & compute market.
