Hyperliquid Distributes 4,600 Hypurr NFTs to Early Users, Floor Price Surges to $68,900

Hyperliquid launched its Hypurr NFT collection on Sunday on the HyperEVM mainnet, distributing 4,600 NFTs to early users and contributors. The collection serves as recognition for early adopters who supported Hyperliquid's growth, featuring cartoon cat avatars with various traits.

The collection generated approximately $45 million in trading volume, demonstrating strong demand from the community. Floor prices for the NFTs quickly surged to $68,900, while rare editions commanded significantly higher premiums in early trading activity.

One particularly rare NFT featuring Knight Ghost Armor traits sold for $467,000, equivalent to 9,999 HYPE tokoens. Of the total supply, 4,313 NFTs were allocated to users who opted in during the Genesis Event, with the remainder distributed to the Hyper Foundation and core contributors including developers and artists.

The NFT launch occurred as Hyperliquid continues expanding its ecosystem on HyperEVM. The distribution represents a significant milestone for the decentralized exchange as it rewards its earliest supporters with valuable digital collectibles that serve as mementos of the platform's early development phase.

The Hyperliquid ecosystem continues to grow with new token integrations, including the recent launch of PENGU, the native token of Pudgy Penguins, powered by LayerZero's interoperability protocol. This expansion demonstrates Hyperliquid's positioning as a comprehensive blockchain platform capable of hosting diverse financial applications and token launches alongside its core trading functionality.
