The Enjin team announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Friday that Fuel Tanks are now live on the Enjin network. Enjin’s Fuel Tanks are pre-loaded pools of tokens that can be used to subsidize transaction fees on the Enjin Blockchain. This technology allows Enjin to absorb fees on a user's behalf.
Fuel Tanks being Implemented at the protocol level, allows for reduced computational complexity, effectively cutting costs for developers by up to 70%. Thanks to this latest development, transactions on the Enjin Blockchain will be subsidized for 3 months, the team added.
Enjin Coin (ENJ) is an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency that is used to directly back the value of next-generation blockchain assets. It aims to become "the gold standard for digital assets." ENJ is up by more than 1% so far today and is trading at $0.2999 at press time.
