Chainlink announced via Twitter on Tuesday that the Chainlink Price Feeds has launched on Base, Coinbase’s Layer-2 blockchain.

Chainlink announced via Twitter on Tuesday that the Chainlink Price Feeds has launched on Base, Coinbase’s Layer-2 blockchain. With this integration, developers building on Base can have access to industry-standard Chainlink Data Feeds and other web3 services.

According to the Base team, the integration of Chainlink Price Feeds aims to support advanced DeFi applications and ecosystem growth for Base, including externally connected DeFi applications such as decentralized lending and borrowing protocols, derivatives markets, futures markets, and more.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $7.438 at press time.
