Chainlink announced via X on Thursday that Chainlink Data Streams is officially live on MegaETH. Data Streams is natively integrated directly within MegaETH’s execution environment through a native precompile, giving any smart contract seamless access to live, high-frequency market data onchain.
The integration introduces a net-new oracle model, combining the security of traditional onchain oracles with the immediacy of streaming data.

Zero-integration overhead: Any smart contract can read live market data directly from the precompile without building custom offchain logic.

Future-proofed data catalog: Chainlink’s extensive network supports a wide range of asset classes, including crypto, equities, commodities, and RWAs.
The initial deployment focuses on high-frequency crypto assets, laying the groundwork for a new standard in onchain price discovery.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 1.6% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $17.32 at press time.
