Chainlink announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Friday that Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is now live on the BNBChain mainnet.
This integration unlocks developers from across the multi-chain ecosystem to securely expand to and build with BNB Chain and other CCIP-connected blockchains. CCIP unlocks a new era of simple and secure cross-chain development, the team added.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $7.993 at press time.
BNB powers the BNB Chain ecosystem and is the native coin of the BNB Beacon Chain and BNB Smart Chain. BNB is currently trading at $218.7, up by 2% in the last 24 hours.
