KuCoin, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, has increased its focus on the security of its platform in recent years. This is evident by its recent milestone of becoming the first top crypto exchange to achieve the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS) certification.

KuCoin Ranks No.1 on CER.live
The cryptocurrency exchange announced on Thursday, October 16th, that it has maintained its top-tier ranking on CER.live, an independent platform renowned for assessing exchange security and transparency.
In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, KuCoin revealed that it ranks No. 1 globally on CER.live with a perfect cybersecurity score of 100/100. This score reflects the crypto exchange’s outstanding performance across server security, user security, penetration testing, bug bounty results, and certifications.
KuCoin added that CER.live’s rigorous evaluation framework measures exchanges across more than 20 key indicators, including real-time proof-of-reserves audits, active bug bounty programs with substantial rewards, and regular penetration testing by external security experts.
KuCoin first obtained the AAA rating on CER.live in June 2025 and has sustained it thanks to its constant improvement in security and transparency. Thus, making it one of the most secure crypto exchanges in the world.

This latest development comes shortly after KuCoin became the first top crypto exchange to achieve the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS) certification. It is now the only major exchange to hold all four leading security and privacy certifications — CCSS, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 27701:2025, and SOC 2 Type II.
The latest CER.live ranking further validates the company’s ongoing efforts under its $2 Billion Trust Project.
