On Monday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via a blog post that the Avalanche9000 is now live on the Avalanche mainnet. This major update introduces Etna, ACP-77, ACP-125, and more, reducing Layer 1 (L1) deployment costs by 99.9%, simplifying customization, and enhancing maintenance, making L1 launches more economically feasible.
Avalanche9000 reduces the cost of deploying an L1 by 99.9%, and with hundreds of L1s being developed on testnet, look out for an explosion of launches in the coming months. Avalanche9000 is reducing the minimum gas fee on the C-Chain by 96%.
It also connects every L1 with enhanced Interchain Messaging, meaning all Avalanche L1s can benefit from the collective success of talking to each other and transferring assets.
