Avalanche Octane Goes Live on Mainnet

On Monday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via X that Avalanche Octane is live on mainnet.

On Tuesday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via X that Avalanche Octane is live on mainnet. It is the first in a series of updates focused on performance improvements and optimizations to the C-Chain.

Driven by ACP-176, this update adopts a dynamic fee mechanism on the C-Chain, leading to lower transaction costs and improved efficiency during high transaction volume.

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in an interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem.AVAX is down 7% today and currently trades at $16.03 per coin.
