On Wednesday, the Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post that it has secured a Currency Transmitter License in the State of Rhode Island, marking another important step in strengthening its regulatory presence across the United States. With this addition, Alchemy Pay now holds Money Transmitter Licenses in sixteen U.S. states, reflecting its continued commitment to building a compliant and scalable payment network in one of the world’s most important financial markets.
This newly acquired license can be found at the official website of the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) by searching for “Alchemy Pay Inc.”
The Rhode Island Currency Transmitter License, governed by the Division of Banking under the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation, authorizes Alchemy Pay to engage in activities involving the transmission of money or monetary value.
The license ensures that Alchemy Pay operates in accordance with regulatory standards applicable to financial institutions managing payments, remittances, and virtual currency transactions.
