A crypto exchange guide must provide reviews of all of the exchanges out there, so that you can find the right one for you. This review of Cripto Intercambio consists of four parts: general info, fees, deposit methods and security.

Cripto Intercambio is an exchange service from Chile. The platform is very careful with the terminology here, and they’re clear with the fact that they are an exchange service and not an exchange. From our understanding, the main difference is that the buyer and the seller of a certain crypto are not both on the Cripto Intercambio platform. Rather, the buyer is on the platform and then the platform  helps the buyer to find a seller somewhere else. This makes it more of an exchange service than an exchange.

There are three exchanges (note though, not exchange services) in our Exchange List from Chile; Buda, CryptoMarket and Mercado Athena.

US-investors can’t trade here. This is primarily due to regulatory reasons. If you are a US-investor, don’t despair! You can find the best exchange for you by using our Exchange Finder or using the filters in our Exchange List. Check it out.

The platform markets four things as main strengths with the platform: it has a lot of supported cryptos (on the date of writing this review, 19 November 2019, the number of supported cryptos was 111), no registration is needed, Cripto exchanges are fast and free of charge and, finally, you can have access to native customer support.

Cripto Intercambio Advantages

Apparently, the exchange service takes only a few minutes which is very fast and impressive.

Different exchanges and exchange services have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should make up your own mind on which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen crypto and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange or exchange service, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can see that it feels right to you. At this exchange, there is only a purchase interface. This makes it easy to understand for new crypto investors, while it might lack some features that more experienced traders look for. The below is a picture of the purchase interface at Cripto Intercambio:

At this platform, you pay the same regardless if you're a maker or a taker. And what you pay is 0.15%. This fee shold be considered as acceptable, seeing as it is in line with the industry averages. However, new industry averages are emerging as more and more exchanges have started charging 0.10% instead. In any event, Cripto Intercambio are not far off.

There are exchanges out there that charge low trading fees but then hit you on your way out with high withdrawal fees. This exchange, however, only charges the network fees when you do a transaction. The global industry BTC-withdrawal fee is 0.000812 BTC per withdrawal. The network fees vary from day to day but are roughly 15-20% of the global industry average BTC-withdrawal fee.

This platform does not accept any other deposit method than cryptos, so new investors can’t trade here. If you are a new crypto investor and you wish to start trading here, you will have to purchase cryptos from another exchange first and then use them in this exchange service. To find an exchange where you can deposit fiat currency, just use our Exchange Finder and we’ll help you through it.

This platform is non-custodial, meaning that the exchange service never touches any user funds. Naturally, this strengthens the security of the platform and avoids the risk of user funds getting stolen or lost.
