PancakeSwap to Retire its Options Feature by March 11th

On Tuesday, the Pancakeswap team announced via a blog post that PancakeSwap Options will officially be retired on March 11th, 2025, at 08:00 UTC. Thanks to this latest development, users can no longer add liquidity to the PancakeSwap Options after February 25th, 2025, at 08:00 UTC.

However, any liquidity existing deposits on the PancakeSwap Options will continue to earn fees if your funds are used for PancakeSwap V3 pools or Options trades. Pancakeswap added that this decision allows them to focus on developing more sustainable and impactful products that will provide more significant benefits to the PancakeSwap community in the long term.

PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is up 1% today and is currently trading at $2.189.
