The Fantom Foundation announced via a blog post on Tuesday that LayerZero and Axelar have introduced their own versions of popular stablecoins and tokens — USDC, USDT, WETH, and WBTC.

The team added that this latest development has diversified the token selection on the Fantom chain, enhancing the accessibility of bridging to the network from other blockchains.

Fantom is building a programmable platform on a directed acyclic-graph-based distributed ledger. Fantom’s FTM coin is down by 2% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.2339.
