The Avalanche Foundation announced via X on Thursday that the LAMINA1 chain is officially live on Avalanche. LAMINA1 is a Layer1 blockchain optimized for the Open Metaverse, providing builders and creators a flexible framework to create and innovate better. 

The platform is building a batteries-included blockchain, API, and creator tooling optimized for ease of use, performance, and interoperability in the next online era.

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in an interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem.AVAX is down by 4% so far today and currently trades at $38.37 per coin.
