Insurtech Otonomi Uses Chainlink Oracles On Its Automated Insurance Platform

Chainlink announced via Twitter on Tuesday that Insurtech Otonomi is using Chainlink oracles to bring fully automated insurance contracts to the marine and cargo industries. Otonomi is a parametric cargo insurance platform that supercharges operations with 3 proprietary technologies: decentralized oracle API triggers, claim automation via smart contracts, and algorithmic underwriting risk analytics.

By partnering with Chainlink, Otonomi said its engineers are able to build more transparent, timely, and cost-efficient products for its logistics end-clients and insurance underwriter partners.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 3.6% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $7.025 at press time.
