dWallet has announced support for EVM-compatible L1 blockchain Monad, enabling developers within the Monad ecosystem to create natively multi-chain DeFi apps.

dWallet Network, the infrastructure for programmable native Bitcoin, announced on Tuesday, April 30th, that it now supports Monad, the leading EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain.

According to the press release shared with Cryptowisser, the team said Monad will leverage Wallet technology to introduce native multi-chain capabilities.

With the dWallet Network, developers within the Monad ecosystem can harness noncollusive and massively decentralized building blocks to create natively multi-chain DeFi apps.

The partnership between the two entities also cements Monad’s position as the best EVM environment for leveraging dWallet technology. Monad now offers unmatched efficiency and scalability to developers within the DeFi ecosystem.

While commenting on the integration, Keone Hon, Monad Labs Co-Founder and CEO, said,

“This support from dWallet Network is a testament to our dedication to providing the best possible platform for EVM developers. Our unmatched speed and performance, combined with dWallet's innovative multi-chain capabilities, not only solidify Monad's position as the leading blockchain for DeFi development but also significantly enhance the tools available to our developers. We are setting a new standard for what developers can achieve in the DeFi space."

To implement the dWallet primitive, the dWallet Network utilizes 2PC-MPC, the state-of-the-art protocol invented by its team. The protocol makes it possible to generate an ECDSA signature in a non-collusive way, requiring participation from both the end user and hundreds of thousands of nodes.

The partnership now allows developers in the Monad ecosystem to integrate dWallet's native multi-chain functionalities into their apps. This provides users with a seamless experience across various blockchain platforms without compromising security or user ownership.

Omer Sadika, Co-Founder of dWallet Network, also commented that,

"By aligning with Monad, we're bringing our natively multi-chain technology to the forefront of the fastest and most efficient EVM ecosystem. This integration is a major step forward in our mission to facilitate a seamlessly interconnected DeFi landscape, and we're excited to see the revolutionary applications that will emerge from this."

Monad is a decentralized, developer-forward Layer 1 smart contract platform that ushers in a new paradigm of possibility through pipelined execution of Ethereum transactions.

Meanwhile, dWallet Network is the home of dWallets, programmable and transferable signing mechanisms that live on-chain. dWallet Network empowers builders on L1s and L2s to utilize dWallets as a building block for managing assets & enforcing logic across all of Web3 in a decentralized and noncollusive way.
