The Cosmos team announced via X on Thursday that XION has officially joined the Cosmos ecosystem. XION is pioneering a walletless Cosmos blockchain, driving consumer adoption through chain abstraction.

With its mainnet launch, XION aims to remove barriers to Web3 participation and facilitate user adoption across the Cosmos ecosystem. 

Cosmos is a network connecting many independent distributed ledgers (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin) to achieve interoperability across blockchains. ATOM, the native token of Cosmos, is up 1% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $9.956 at press time.
