On Tuesday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via X that CCTP V2 from Circle is live on the Avalanche blockchain. The integration enhances cross-chain interoperability, liquidity, and transaction efficiency.

Other features include fast USDC settlement, hooks for post-transfer actions, and 1:1 burn-and-mint, no liquidity pools. 

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in an interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem. AVAX is up 2% today and currently trades at $17.00 per coin.
