The Bybit World Series of Trading (WSOT) offers one of the most popular competitive digital asset trading competitions in the world.

The Bybit World Series of Trading (WSOT) offers one of the most popular competitive digital asset trading competitions in the world. The registrations opened on May 26, with players entering into a competition for the chance to win a share of a record-breaking prize pool consisting of up to 8 million USDT, as well as giveaways of NFTs and other perks.

Racing To The Next Level

Bybit’s WSOT was created to highlight the great traders in the industry, by rewarding the very best profit/loss ratio regardless of the investment amount. This is a unique take on these kinds of contests, as normally they are designed to entice users to trade in high yields. Last year’s WSOT involved around 35,000 participants, who managed to get their hands on $4.09 million of the prize pool, as well as 1,339 NFT rewards.

This year sees the prize pool double and will be played across three tracks; Solo Race, Squad Race and Speed Zone Loot. Public registration for WSTO 2022 is open globally where Bybit services are available as of June 10. The trading period will run from June 27 through July 17, 2022, with participants able to expect a series of perks, with task-based and bonus awards and lucky draws running throughout the summer.

Bybit Donates To UNICEF

Bybit recognises that $8 million is a lot of money to give away and as a company that looks to champion crypto, they will be donating $400,000 in Bitcoin to UNICEF. Broadly speaking, cryptocurrency has suffered a lot in 2022, with the LunaTerra fiasco muddying the image of the fast-growing industry.

But, giving back to a major charitable organization like UNICEF will go a long way in helping to show the value of this industry. The money will go towards supporting children and giving them access to a quality digital education. The partnership with UNICEF will be with Aotearoa New Zealand, empowering girls’ education in the region.

Bybit Invested In BitDAO

At the end of January this year, Bybit pledged to make recurring contributions to BitDAO, a collective of builders and stakeholders enabling web3 products and services. As well as making that pledge, the derivatives exchange announced that it would be contributing $134 million to the BitDAO Treasury in the form of Ether (ETH), Tether (USDT), and USD Coin (USDC).
