Botanix Launches on Mainnet, Powered by Chainlink CCIP

On Thursday, the Chainlink team announced via X that Botanix has launched on mainnet with Chainlink CCIP serving as its canonical cross-chain infrastructure from day one. 

Botanix is a decentralized Bitcoin layer 2 and Chainlink Scale member. Furthermore, Chainlink Data Streams and Data Feeds are also live on Botanix, delivering high-throughput and tamper-proof data. With this launch, developers can now build highly secure and innovative cross-chain BTCFi applications, supporting the adoption of Botanix and unlocking increased utility of Bitcoin.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof data inputs and outputs for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up 1% over the past 24 hours, trading at $13.6 at press time.
