The Axie Infinity team announced via a blog post on Wednesday that Axie Origin Coin (AOC) tokens are migrating to Ronin.

The Axie Infinity team announced via a blog post on Wednesday that Axie Origin Coin (AOC) tokens are migrating to Ronin. On January 22, 2024, at 7 AM UTC, a snapshot of the AOC contract will be taken, paving the way for the migration from ETH to Ronin. 

AOC token holders will be able to roll their tokens after the migration is complete. AOC token holders can roll their tokens after the migration is complete. Every roll (5 AOC tokens) will give birth to an Origin axie. Each of the Axie’s 6 body parts will have a 1/18 chance of being a Mystic part, the team added. 

Axie Infinity is a Pokémon-inspired digital pet universe built on the Ethereum blockchain, where anyone can earn token rewards through skilled gameplay and contributions to the ecosystem. AXS, the native token of the Axie Infinity ecosystem, is up by 13% today and currently trades at $8.46.
